
Situation: The Nestlé USA Finance division wanted to reinvent itself with a new mission
and vision, creating new organizational strategies for all employees within the
Finance organization.
Challenge: The group needed to introduce strategic communication initiatives and action
plans that would inform and inspire all employees to embrace the new mission, vision,
and cultural changes related to new financial models and processes.
Solution: Bonfire designed, produced, and launched a communications campaign called
"Navigating Value Creation" via a wide range of vehicles: a high-energy video designed to
inspire and communicate the need for change, an event for 120 Finance managers to launch
the campaign effort, and a manager's toolkit with learning maps and facilitator guides to
communicate the change to employees.
Results: The Finance division saw a 70 percent increase in employee understanding of the
need for the change and an 80 percent increase in understanding of the division's new
mission, vision, strategies, and values. In addition, the Finance organization pioneered
the "Value Creation" model throughout the Nestlé USA enterprise.
