Marady is an award-winning producer, communications director, and management consultant with over 17 years of diverse professional experience spanning business communications, brand management and sponsor/participant affairs, public participation and community/media relations, multimedia and video direction and production, and theme park show production. Whether working in the entertainment, health, environment, energy, or transportation fields, she focuses her efforts on helping people and organizations navigate complex issues or change with communications clarity.

With an affinity for bridging creative goals with technology and business objectives, Marady has managed multimillion-dollar projects that exceed creative, quality, budget, and schedule expectations. Even more than a challenging project, she enjoys when teams and clients have fun finding unique or unexpected solutions along the way.

Prior to joining Bonfire, Marady was a show producer at Walt Disney Imagineering, where her pinnacle project was Tokyo DisneySea, a celebrated new theme park near Tokyo, Japan. She focused on sponsor/participant identity and affairs, brand management, internal communications, documentary video direction and production, creative development, and cultural adaptation.

In the 1990s, Marady directed more than 80 public participation projects for local, state and federal environmental agencies responsible for hazardous waste site cleanup and permitting, and military base closure, cleanup, and reuse - both as a senior consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and with her own firm, Conner Communications. She sat on numerous boards and task forces, serving as president of the National Association of Professional Environmental Communicators (NAPEC).

In her spare time, Marady pursues her master's in philosophy and religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies and is a member of the Institute of Archaeomythology and the Joseph Campbell Foundation. Marady holds a bachelor's degree in political, legal, and economic analysis with a minor in environmental studies, in addition to a certificate in integrated waste management. She lives in the Montclair Village in Oakland with her precocious son Conner and snuggly cats Magellan and Yoda, and can frequently be found hiking, kayaking, or roller-skating.
