
Since 2007, Karman has worked in a role that is equal parts project manager, account manager, strategist, producer and writer at Bonfire. He thrives on his ability to help many of the best companies in the world live their brands internally by developing and deploying innovative communications strategies and solutions. Karman has helped to create and manage award-winning communications campaigns for clients such as Banana Republic, eBay, Gap Inc., GE, Genentech, Liz Claiborne, Merck and Oracle.
Prior to Bonfire, Karman held in-house marketing and consulting roles at both blue-chip and startup companies including Altera Design, ROI Communication, Eton Corporation, Medsite.com and Deloitte & Touche. In his marketing roles, Karman helped companies successfully define, establish and grow their marketing functions during critical periods of rapid growth. As a consultant, Karman worked with Cisco, PG&E, Washington Mutual and Boeing on projects ranging from writing employee value propositions to evaluating corporate risk controls.
A Bay Area native, Karman graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied Political Science and Business. Away from the office, Karman cherishes spending time eating, shopping and traveling with his family, and managing Cantilever Design, his hobby interior design business.
