Judy brings 20 years of editorial publishing and online content experience to Bonfire and truly enjoys the discovery process of strategic messaging, the intellectual challenge of bridging critical business objectives and content, and the tangible satisfaction of making good things happen.
At Avenue A | Razorfish, Judy managed content strategy and website redesigns for clients, including Singapore Airlines, Visa USA, Sun Microsystems, McKesson and Genentech. Her online experience includes positions with America Online and Netscape, where she managed the Personal Finance channel and created news-based and targeted content packages with partners, including Fortune, BusinessWeek, CNNMoney, Marketwatch.com and The Wall Street Journal Online.
Despite the hectic schedule, sleepless months, and the electric creativity inherent in starting a magazine, Judy happily hopped on board -- twice -- as the founding managing editor of MacAddict and Business 2.0 magazines.
Donning a red feather boa, Judy regularly hosts Mediabistro.com's San Francisco gatherings for the editorial and content community. She is ecstatic when she can play outside, troll for seasonal produce at local farmers markets, cook for her friends and family, and indulge in dark chocolate treats. She volunteers her gastronomic expertise to community families in need and lives in San Francisco's Bernal Heights neighborhood with her sweetheart husband, Brent.
