Bonfire Wins Four 2006 MarCom Creative Awards

This past December, Bonfire Communications was the recipient of four 2006 MarCom Creative Awards for outstanding work in the areas of marketing and promotions, and employee publications. The honor consisted of one Gold and three Platinum awards—the competition's top honor.

Bonfire won Platinum awards for two client projects: an Employee Guidebook created for a Banana Republic career development campaign, and the gLife benefits campaign created for Genentech. They received a third Platinum award for a Bonfire collateral piece known as the "Monday Morning" book.

Bonfire won the Gold award for a Commitment Book created within the Banana Republic career development campaign. Both the Banana Republic and Genentech campaigns are comprehensive, interactive programs that drive conversations about growth, development and health within world-class companies.

In addition to the four awards, Bonfire also received Honorable Mentions for a collateral postcard and an annual report developed for Partners in School Innovation, a San Francisco-based non-profit organization.

The MarCom Creative Awards is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. This year's competition included more than 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries.

The competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, an international organization consisting of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and freelance professionals.
