Bonfire Communications to Co-Present with the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) at 2007 IABC International Conference in New Orleans

SAN FRANCISCO—June 23, 2007—Bonfire Communications has announced that it will participate in the 2007 IABC International Conference next week in New Orleans. Gordon Rudow, Bonfire's co-founder and chief executive, will present Creating Transformation and Growth through Audience-Centric Communication with Shannon Carter, chief executive of the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI).

The presentation will describe how the Certification Board Perioperative Nursing (CBPN), an industry leader in credentialing services and development for operating room nurses, transformed their external identity to Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) and subsequently gained the highest number of registrants in years.

The talk will include before-and-after comparisons of CCI's brand and an overview of Bonfire's audience-centric approach to communication planning - the unique methodology that helped CCI reposition itself in the marketplace.

"Partnering with CCI during their re-branding was a fantastic experience," said Rudow. "Their strong sense of mission allowed for complete transformation of their identity in order to expand their reach in healthcare, and thus better serve the interests of patients."

Rudow added, "Applications for certification have reached new levels, revenues have achieved record highs, and CCI has enjoyed increased industry recognition."

The story of this brand transformation will be told during the conference of the International Association of Business Communicators to be held at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans next week. Rudow and Carter take the stage Monday, June 25 at 3:00 p.m. Central time. The event is open to individuals who register for the conference.
