Kimberly Hansink Joins Bonfire Communications as Campaign Director

SAN FRANCISCO—March 13, 2007—Bonfire Communications announced that Kimberly Hansink has joined the company as a campaign director in the San Francisco office. In this role, Hansink uses Bonfire's unique methodology to help large organizations drive strategy through effective internal communications campaigns.

Before joining Bonfire, Hansink spent six years as a senior consultant with The Gallup Organization, where she helped clients improve financial performance by using survey research to understand and increase employee and customer engagement. Her clients included major technology, healthcare and retail organizations. Hansink also acted as an executive coach and talent advisor to her clients.

According to Gordon Rudow, chief executive of Bonfire Communications, many large-scale corporate change initiatives fail because they are built on thin and ill-conceived communications that don't connect with the hearts and minds of employees. He hailed Hansink's arrival saying, "Kim's employee engagement background with Gallup adds another vital dimension to Bonfire's eclectic team of professionals, expanding the range of ideas and insights we bring to our clients."

Rudow added, "Our clients look to Bonfire for diverse and multi-faceted expertise that allows them to launch campaigns that transcend the usual silos of communications and human resources to influence employees in a way that truly ignites collective action."

Prior to her tenure with Gallup, Hansink spent 10 years in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry, including lead roles in public relations and internal communications with Red Lion Hotels and Inns, Hong Kong-based Regal Hotels International, and Rock Bottom Restaurants. During the late 1990s, Hansink led regional marketing for KPMG's Information, Communications and Entertainment (ICE) consulting practice.

Rudow said, "Bonfire is known for bringing a unique blend of talent to the table for every engagement, and adding Kim to the mix increases our firepower across all of our client relationships."
