Bonfire Chief to Lead Interactive Post-Conference Workshop at the Advanced Learning Institute's Social Media Summit in Chicago

SAN FRANCISCO—April 8, 2007—Bonfire Communications announced today that it will participate in the Advanced Learning Institute's Social Media Summit in Chicago. The conference will cover how to use blogging, podcasting and the latest Web 2.0 technologies to engage employees, reach customers and build a brand.

Bonfire's chief executive officer Gordon Rudow will lead an interactive post-conference workshop on how to plan for and implement these new technologies. His presentation, How to Leverage New Technologies to Drive Important Conversations Within Your Organization, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on Friday, April 13th, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. CDT.

The presentation will last approximately two hours and include an overview of Bonfire's mapping approach to audience-centricity, a unique methodology for measuring an organization's readiness when adopting new technologies in social media. Attendees will learn how to select and integrate the most relevant tools for their cultures and employees' learning styles.

"When it comes to crafting and conveying an organization's messages, communicators are responsible for a world of content and strategy," explained Rudow. "Audience-Centric planning allows leaders and managers to factor audience concerns into communication planning in a way that ensures the design criteria and tactical implementation will connect with the audiences they are meant to engage," said Rudow.
